Isle of Wight Cycling Festival


14 – 29 September 2013

The Isle of Wight Cycling Festival is a 15 day celebration of fun, cycling and breathtaking scenery. Launching on Saturday 14th September with the EcoIsland Carbon Cycle Celebration. With fun for all the family there are also some more serious events for the committed cyclist:

Hills Killer –¬†mountain bike challenge. Choose from 13, 26 or 52 mile challenges on 15th September.

Chevy Chase – the off-road 3 mile endurance race on 28th September.

The Wightlink Wight Challenge – For the very fit there is the Wightlink Wight Challenge, an 18 mile cycle, 2 mile canoe, 8 mile cycle race on 21st September.

British Heart Foundation Cycle the Wight Рa 70 mile race around the Island with 4 different starting points. There is also a shorter 50 mile route. 22nd September

West Wight Triathlon – a 600m Pool swim, 35km cycle race along Military Road followed by a 7.5km run. 29th September.
